SUD Clinical Connections – A PSO Safe Table Series is a six-part virtual learning series designed to support hospitals and care teams in implementing the AIM Patient Safety Bundle for Pregnant and Postpartum Patients with Substance Use Disorder. This series is built around the 5 R’s framework: Readiness, Recognition & Prevention, Response, Reporting & Systems Learning, and Respectful, Equitable, & Supportive Care.
This session will focus on Respectful, Equitable, and Supportive Care for Pregnant and Postpartum People with SUD.
Facilitated by Dr. Veronica Gillispie-Bell, a nationally recognized OB/GYN physician, maternal safety expert, and health equity leader. Known for her dynamic and compassionate approach, Dr. Gillispie-Bell has extensive experience implementing AIM Safety Bundles at both state and national levels.
