Children in hospital and emergency settings commonly experience trauma, but these trauma responses are often unrecognized or misinterpreted by clinicians. The expansion of tele–mental health adds further challenges in screening, engagement, and care coordination, increasing the risk of missed or delayed intervention. This Safe Table session equips clinicians with practical, trauma informed skills to improve identification, communication, and continuity of care across in person and virtual settings.
