Workplace violence poses a serious threat to the safety, well-being, and effectiveness of healthcare teams, particularly in pediatric settings. This session will provide practical strategies for preventing and addressing incidents of workplace violence while fostering a culture of safety and resilience. This PSO Safe Table is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage Addressing Workplace Violence in Pediatrics through telehealth.
The Garden State Patient Safety Center - a federally certified Patient Safety Organization (PSO) - recognizes that finding robust answers and strategies to complex clinical issues can sometimes be challenging. PSO Safe Tables are forums where healthcare professionals from across NJ can discuss patient safety experiences, share best practices, and participate in shared learning. The setting provides a safe, confidential environment that allows healthcare professionals to discuss challenges with the ultimate goal of quality improvement and patient safety.
This program is funded by the HRSA Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program FAIN# U4C32317 via the NJ Department of Health.
